The team was amazed and inspired by a tour of the Bethlem Archive from Michael Phillips at the Bethlem site. They were also very impressed by the excellent work going on in The Bethlem Gallery on the site. The team would love to involve both the art collection and the work of the gallery in Project Learning Potential.

Mark Shaw from Duggan Morris Architects was fortunate to be given a tour of acute wards on the Maudsley Campus. This was followed by a discussion session about the New Learning Centre with a group of staff members from the trust where the vision document was presented and views/thoughts on the new building were discussed. It was felt to be a fantastic insight into the real work that is carried out by the trust for the team.

The team visited 4 key buildings again, this time with Jane Sayer from SLaM. The buildings were: Maggies Centre, Hammersmith, Blizard Building, Queen Mary University , Keyworth 2, South Bank University and The Idea Store, Whitechapel. For more information on these buildings, visit the building visits tab on this website or click here.
